McClelland has been an elusive presence since triumphing in the Whitney Biennial of 1993, with blowsy black-and-white abstractions that flirted with formlessness to a visual hip-hop beat. Now, furiously smart paintings, drawings, and an installation dispense intuitions of boundless possibility like things falling off an overloaded, speeding truck. The magical heroines of “Bewitched,” “Wonder Woman,” and “I Dream of Jeannie” figure in the gravely enjoyable video installation, which incorporates flattened-cardboard-boxes and fabric; it looks messy but feels as tight as a well-tuned drum. Through Dec. 23.
